Printify is a print-on-demand platform that connects online sellers to a global network of print providers. James Berdigans created Printify in 2015 after buying inventory he doubted he could sell. His goal was to let anyone make products only after a customer orders them.
Independent print providers produce and ship each order. The catalog lists more than 2,000 products across 100+ printing locations. Order routing selects the provider closest to each customer to speed up delivery.
Printify vets providers for product defects, cancellation rates and print quality. The company reports that 90 percent of orders are produced and shipped within two business days. It also reviews prices on its 50 bestselling products every month.
Sellers can choose among providers for each product. A transfer service helps merchants move products from other platforms. The company reports more than 10 million merchants and 60 million products delivered. Investors include Index Ventures, H&M Group and Virgin Group.

Product Creator and Mockups
The Product Creator turns uploaded artwork into listings across the catalog. A Mockup Generator produces product images for stores. The Product Creator is included in the free plan. Unlimited product designs are allowed on every plan.
Catalog and Provider Choice
The catalog includes t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, socks, backpacks, phone cases and embroidered items. Sellers compare providers before publishing a product. Each provider’s location affects production and delivery. Merchant support runs 24 hours a day on all plans.
Order Management and Premium Tools
Orders can be managed manually or automatically. Printify Connect, a Premium feature, handles reprints, reviews and customer issues. Premium members also receive Sellers Club Pro mentorship and first access to new tools. New products reach Premium members at up to 33 percent off at launch.
Who Uses Printify and How
Etsy and Shopify sellers use Printify to add products without buying stock. Creators on TikTok Shop and Amazon connect a store and let orders flow to providers. Sellers with several niches or platforms can run up to five stores on the free plan and ten on Premium.
Larger operations can request an Enterprise plan with unlimited store connections and negotiated pricing. Teams that need quantity can use a bulk orders service. Sellers can start on the free plan and move to Premium as order volume grows.
Printify Pricing and Integrations
Printify has a free plan with full catalog access, and sellers pay only the product and shipping cost per order. The free plan has no subscription and no expiration. Premium adds up to 20 percent off catalog prices, applied automatically with no codes.
Printify estimates that Premium pays for itself at roughly 17 orders a month on a $12 base cost. Printify’s plan comparison lists the current terms. Annual Premium billing costs less per month than monthly billing and includes a year of Sellers Club Pro.
Printify integrates with Shopify, Etsy, WooCommerce, TikTok Shop, Amazon, eBay, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce and PrestaShop. Developers can use the Printify API. The main use case is simple: a nearby print provider makes and ships each design on demand.
